The classrooms are bright, friendly and well equipped with a variety of teaching tools and
learning materials. The campus has a large garden filled with trees, flowers, a playground and
even a vegetable garden, and children are encouraged to explore in this natural setting.
What is STEM? The letters stand for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. STEM is a philosophy that involves educators integrating knowledge across academic disciplines and encouraging children to think in a more connected and holistic way. It requires allowing the students a chance to investigate an idea or concept in a variety of settings both in and out of the classroom. This balances perfectly with the Tiny Seeds core Montessori principals such as, “The environment must be rich in motives which lend interest to activity and invite the child to conduct his own experiences.”
